This Atlantic Furniture bed uses a slat support system. Individual wood slats rest on ledges designed into the rails of the bed. These slats are able to accommodate most brands of mattresses. The slats also feature center support beneath the bed. This consists of center support legs that help to distribute weight more evenly beneath and across the bed. would like customers to know when ordering the Twin size trundle which
is made for a regular twin 39x75 mattress there will be a gap of 2.5" on
either side between the trundle and the bed legs. The trundle works fine
with these bed styles but aesthetically there will be the small gap on
each end.
