Night & Day platform beds are beautifully finished with automated and
hand-rubbed techniques for a rich and durable finish. Made from solid
eco-friendly plantation grown rubberwood. This hardwood species is sourced
from the rubber tree which is a member of the maple family of woods and has a dense grain which helps in the kiln drying process. These trees are economical and easy on the Earth's
eco-system and here is why. After 30 years, a decline in latex production
has made only tapping rubber trees for their sap uneconomic. The trees
are  removed
by hand and replaced with new seedlings. In the past, felled rubber trees
were either burnt on the spot or used as fuel for locomotive engines,
brick firing or latex curing. The wood is now used in the manufacture
of high-end furniture. It is valued for its dense grain, stability, attractive
color and acceptance of different finishes. It is also prized as an “environmentally
friendly” wood, since it makes use of trees that have been cut down at
the end of their latex-producing life cycle and are always replaced with
new seedlings. Night & Day platform beds and casegoods make full use of
this eco-friendly species of hardwood that can be found in every bed and
casegood. Night & Day beds come complete with 10 pcs of 1x4" solid wood
mattress support slats, and are supported down the center with a rail
and foot support system. Made in Malaysia. |

them to easily compliment the many bed styles available from Night & Day
furniture. Every casegood feature two sets of drawer knobs in either wood
or metal (pewter) allowing you to choose the style of knob you'd like to
display on your furniture. Dovetail drawer box construction. Beds, casegoods
(dressers, mirrors, nightstands, chests, desks) and mattresses are shipped
with a standard truckline delivery service. Casegoods are delivered pre-assembled.

  The
Clove armoire offers large drawer storage below for additional clothing
or anything else. The cabinet above features swing around doors revealing
a 38" opening to help accomodate for a TV. The shelf above the opening provides
a place for DVD, or game systems. The Clove student desk is built sturdy
with plenty of drawer space. Arch details and a beveled top make this desk
both pleasing to look at a perfect match with the other Clove casegoods
available. The desk includes a matching desk chair. Metal drawer tracks
and dovetailed drawer box provide the required quality you need for daily
