The Chameleon Bed
The Chameleon Bed by Night & Day furniture (formerly the Chamomile) offers a unique design that allows you to change your style by providing you with a ready to use upholstered panel covered in a tan micro-suede. Use it as it comes or wrap the panels in the fabric of your choice to tie in blankets, duvets, comforters or anything else you'd like to coordinate with the look of your room. Made from solid plantation grown rubberwood (no rainforest lumber is used) and is available in several hand rubbed finishes. Solid hardwood slats make up the foundation of the platform offering greater strength and support than softwood slats. The Chameleon bed is offered in twin, full, queen and king sizes. Available in medium oak (shown left), cherry, chocolate, natural and white finishes. Usual delivery in 10-14 business days. Tracking information provided when shipped. Construction & Materials Information:
Night & Day platform beds are beautifully finished with automated and hand-rubbed techniques for a rich and durable finish. Made from solid eco-friendly plantation grown rubberwood. This hardwood species is sourced from the rubber tree which is a member of the maple family of woods and has a dense grain which helps in the kiln drying process. These trees are economical and easy on the Earth's eco-system and here is why. After 30 years, a decline in latex production has made only tapping rubber trees for their sap uneconomic. The trees are removed by hand and replaced with new seedlings. In the past, felled rubber trees were either burnt on the spot or used as fuel for locomotive engines, brick firing or latex curing. The wood is now used in the manufacture of high-end furniture. It is valued for its dense grain, stability, attractive color and acceptance of different finishes. It is also prized as an �environmentally friendly� wood, since it makes use of trees that have been cut down at the end of their latex-producing life cycle and are always replaced with new seedlings. Night & Day platform beds and casegoods make full use of this eco-friendly species of hardwood that can be found in every bed and casegood. Night & Day beds come complete with 10 pcs of 1x4" solid wood mattress support slats, and are supported down the center with a rail and foot support system. Made in Malaysia.

The Clove armoire offers large drawer storage below for additional clothing or anything else. The cabinet above features swing around doors revealing a 38" opening to help accomodate for a TV. The shelf above the opening provides a place for DVD, or game systems. The Clove student desk is built sturdy with plenty of drawer space. The folding footboard bench is a unique feature that is available for Night & Day beds. The bench does whatever you need it to do. You can use it to sit on for watching tv, laying out clothes, extra bedding storage. There are many useful ways to use it and after you're done using the folding bench simply swing the legs beneath it in and the bench top will fold down allowing the unit to store away flush to the footboard side of the bed.

Underbed Storage Drawers
Drawers come in sets of two and are available as Twin/Full or Queen/King/Cal King sizes. Underbed drawers feature a raised panel front and are on casters/wheels which allow them to move freely and independant of the bed system. These are shipped in flat boxes and the boxes weigh no more than 42 pounds. Storage drawers make a great place to store clothing or other items beneath the bed and will allow you to hide them away beneath the bed.

Footboard Panel
This unique innovation by Night & Day furniture is both practical and essential if you are adding underbed storage drawers beneath your bed. The panel gives the foot of your bed a clean finished look and at the same time helps to conceal the sides of the drawers from view. Simple, clear instructions make assembly of the footboard panel to the footboard easy.
