A traditional styled platform bed with an elegant
sleigh style headboard by Atlantic Furniture. The
Bordeaux bed features a raised panel footboard.
Constructed of solid asian hardwood this platform
bed also includes a 14 piece hardwood slat kit making
it ready to accomodate most mattresses. Queen &
King size beds feature a center support rail and
center support feet for added stability. Optional

By far one of the best things about Atlantic Furniture
platform beds is how easy they assemble together.
In most cases its simply a matter of dropping the
two rails with connectors on the ends into the embedded
pins in the headboard and footboard. Place your slat
system kit onto the bed and that's it. Pretty simple.
Anyone should be able to put one of these beds together
with minimal assembly experience of RTA (ready to
assemble) furniture. |

Atlantic Furniture beds are typically available in
a couple of color choices. These are stocked in the
United States and is typical of products made overseas
to be stocked in just one or a few different colors.
Available options for many of the beds include underbed
drawers, nightstands, dressers, chests and mirrors.

NOTES:
Made from solid rubberwood which is a hardwood from
the maple family of woods. Rubberwood offers a dense
grain that is both durable and offers longevity as
a material for furniture. The rubberwood tree is a
latex sap producing tree and once the sap producing
cycle of the tree is completed often these trees would
be burnt on the spot or used as fuel for locomotive
engines. Today a more eco-friendly approach is being
used to cut these trees after the sap production cycle
has completed and new trees are being hand planted
or new seedlings are being introduced after trees
are harvested that have completed the latex producing
cycle of the tree. Because rubberwood is a less expensive
alternative to higher priced domestic woods such as
oak and maple, this wood can be offered at a lower
price point in the way of furniture allowing this
manufacturer to offer a lower price than what would
typically be found in comparable beds made from more
expensive woods..
The connecting points of the bed are different than
other manufacturers. This manufacturer uses a steel
hook at the ends of the rails that connect into a
routed out groove inside the headboard and footboard
legs. While making things easier for the consumer
in terms of assembly. If inadequete pressure is applied
when connecting these pieces they won't make a strong
connection. Recommendation would be to use a rubber
mallot when connecting these together. |

NOTES:
Atlantic Furniture products are packaged in cardboard
boxes with some styrofoam packaging on the outside.
Beds are typically split up into multiple boxes. Atlantic
Furniture ships with their own truckline carriers
and choose the ones that have performed the best.
Generally items are delivered in good shape with no
major damage or freight issues. Small blemishes from
time to time that could include minor dings have been
reported that were acceptable to the customers who
received the merchandise but nonetheless wanted us
to know so we could share that information with others.
Considering these packages were originally shipped
from Asia the number of times being handled increases.
Our suggestion would be to just double check the contents
of the packaging to ensure everything is in acceptable
condition. Any time a customer had to refuse an item
from Atlantic Furniture the manufacturer was very
quick to send out a replacement so it is not something
that is an issue. Still we encourage customers to
check over the packaging and contents to ensure everything
